Delete Your Account (in the app)
The fastest way to permanently delete your WatchAlong account is inside the app:
- Open the WatchAlong app and sign in
- Go to the More tab (bottom right)
- Tap Delete account
- Follow the steps and confirm with your password, Google, or Apple sign-in
Deletion is immediate and permanent — not a temporary deactivation.

What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information - Your email address, display name, and profile avatar
- Episode ratings - All ratings you've submitted across all groups
- Nominations and votes - Your nominations and voting history
- Comments - Any comments you've posted on episodes
- Chat messages - Messages you've sent in group chats
- Group memberships - You will be removed from all WatchAlong groups
⚠️ Important Notes
- This action is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all your groups and history
- Group statistics and results that include your anonymized data may be retained for group continuity
- In-app deletion is processed immediately when you confirm
- You can create a new account at any time after deletion
